Juvéderm Ultra is a soft, smooth gel that is available in three different strengths for different patient needs.
Juvéderm Ultra 2 is an apyrogenic, physiological gel made from reticulated hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. It is soft and smooth and is suitable for smoothing the first fine wrinkles up to deep, pronounced wrinkles (e.g. around the lips and nose) as well as for defining the lip contour and increasing the volume of the lips.
The lost hyaluronic acid in the skin is compensated for by the products in the Juvéderm Ultra range by moisturizing the skin from within and restoring elasticity and tone. The products can quickly restore lost volume and smooth wrinkles. The addition of the local anaesthetic lidocaine can make the treatment more comfortable for patients.
The active ingredient concentration is 24 mg/ml HA and 3 mg/ml lidocaine.
Attention - important note: The Juvéderm Ultra 2 Hyaluronsäire-Filler prefilled syringes are intended for injection by a doctor. As the injection technique is essential for the success of the treatment, it may only be used by physicians who can provide evidence of special training.
