Radiesse is an injectable filler that is composed of calcium and phosphate, minerals that are both found naturally in the body. Like hyaluronic acid, it is a biodegradable (resorbable) dermal filler. Radiesse produces a natural lifting effect on the face and helps to define contours. At the same time, it improves skin quality by activating collagen-forming cells (fibroblasts) to increase the production of collagen and elastin. This improves the skin structure not only in the long term at a deep level, but also directly on the skin's surface.
The collagen gives the skin back its firm, youthful-looking structures and the newly formed collagen network leads to a long-term strengthening of the skin. This creates a very gentle lifting effect from the inside.
CAUTION - important notice: The Radiesse filler pre-filled syringes are intended for injection by a physician. Since the injection technique is essential for the success of the treatment, it may only be used by physicians who can demonstrate special training.
